Ever since eBay started, there has been a craze for auctioning some ludicrous items. Whether it be a unit of currency for more than it's worth, or some object of food which is said to resemble something else, they crop up all the time. But who actually bids, and then maybe even buys these items?

Most of us know they are scams and consign them to junk, but unfortunately a new wave of romance scammers seems to be enticing victims with promises of love rather than money.
