Earphones disguised as a cigarette pack

By Susan Wilson

Earphones disguised as a cigarette pack Cigarettes can kill you but I’m not so sure about faux cigarette ear phones.  Disguising the earphones as a pack of “Handsfree” cigarettes is certainly novel but not necessarily subtle.

The earphones are shaped like a cardboard pack of cigarettes and when the top of the “pack” is opened, it looks as if the cigarettes could be removed.Rather than having a blue tooth connection between the “pack” and your cell phone, you have a nice cord with volume control.

For those that smoke, this could much more disturbing if they attempt to talk into the wrong pack of cigarettes.  Definitely time to check into a smoking cessation program!

Just like Get Smart you listen and talk into the faux cigarette pack.  Good for a laugh but still more than likely to get you pulled for cell phone use/possible insanity if spotted by the police while talking into your cigarettes while driving.

A much better brand of faux cigarettes are the candy cigarettes that you can find in sundry stores that offer old time candy.  Now there were faux cigarettes to enjoy!  Depending on the maker, your cigarettes were either stick candy or chocolate and both delicious.  I could go through a pack of candy cigarettes quicker than my parents could smoke through a pack of cigarettes!

That was back in the day when no one believed the labels on cigarettes that said that smoking could cause cancer.  Candy cigarettes were like training wheels.  They allowed kids to mimic their parents or the cool teenagers.

Unfortunately, the labels didn’t lie.  Real Cigarette’s do kill, although most young adults still refuse to believe it.

Novelty products like these earphones, while funny, still carry the message that smoking is cool.  Not a cool message for kids to pick up.

If you want to look like a dork while talking on the phone, you can purchase these earphones for $6.79 from DealExtreme.
