The Robometer of happiness for the stressed among us

By Susan Wilson

The Robometer of happiness for the stressed among us Worried about not being happy enough?  Need a lift from the doldrums?  Want to escape despair?  Well the Robometer maybe just what you need.  It will sense your mood and help you get happy.

The Robometer has a Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) sensor that is worn on two fingers.  The GSR senses the wearers mood from tense to happy.  A voice recognition system is also included in the system to monitor speech patterns.  The whole gizmo uses Bluetooth technology to communicate with its various parts.

The Robometer happiness check Should the Robometer detect that you are tense or down in the dumps, it will talk to you.  This little gadget will remind you of things that make you happy, presumably preprogrammed.  This little happy meter is supposed to change your mood by giving you "happy" feedback.

Not sure where this little gadget would fit in the field of Biofeedback but maybe a nearby University would like to give it a go for research purposes?  Anybody?
