MizPee provides a service Google can't

By Susan Wilson

MizPee provides a service Google can't Anyone who has ever had custody of a small child, accompanied a pregnant woman or suffered from an enlarged prostate or aging bladder, knows how important finding a bathroom in a strange place can be. MizPee is now available to help in these emergency situations. Google can help you find streets and gives you street views, but it doesn't help you find the "necessary room" in your hour of need.

MizPee is an online service that provides information on bathroom locations, and bathroom cleanliness. You can also find bathrooms with specific requirements like handicap accessibility or a changing table. All you do is type in city, state and street address and the website will point you toward a convenient facility. There is no software to download or subscription service requirement. Simply type in www.MizPee.com (or www.MizPee.eu) and your mobile web browser will take you to the site.

Should you find yourself in need of reading material while waiting, (I'll the circumstances up to your imagination), MizPee provides subject matter suitable trivia and "deals" in your area. Since MizPee is funded by advertising revenue, local business deals and promos are provided. So not only can you find the nearest acceptable bathroom, but you can plan your shopping while you are "occupied".

MizPee also offers users…of the website, the opportunity to provide information on public bathrooms as well as a ranking system according to cleanliness. Since the service currently only covers major cities, citizens of smaller places can add information about their localities as a "public" service for visitors. For example, anyone visiting the mountains in western North Carolina would have to drive 4 1/2 hours to find a bathroom using this service since it only covers Raleigh in North Carolina. Tourism is a major industry in western North Carolina so providing bathroom locations and ratings would be one way of ensuring tourists a pleasurable visit.

The founders of MizPee, Peter Olfe and Dhana Pawar, are the co-owners of YojoMobile based in San Francisco, CA. Both have multiple years experience in the mobile phone industry and decided to put that experience to good use. Along with MizPee, the two will be adding Yojo Mama and Yojo Girl. The first website is aimed towards young mothers, and the second toward shoppers.

Currently, MizPee only covers large cities as noted above and large cities in Europe.
